Assignment accepted

Geriatric Vision Care accepts assignment from Medicare and Medicaid programs. So what does assignment mean? Primary insurance companies that we participate with have a fee schedule. This means that for each code billed, there is a pre-approved amount to charge.

For a private pay patient, the patient will be responsible for the co-insurance and the refraction if the patient does not have any supplemental private insurance.

If resident is covered by Medicaid insurance, there are no additional charges to the patient or family.
